A source from the
set told DNA, “Ajay has a Tennis Elbow or Lateral Epicondylitis as it is
called. And he is in so much pain, he can’t even lift his hand to pick up a cup
of coffee. The actor has been experiencing pain in his heel, too. However, he
has to finish the schedule because the producers (Ankur Garg and Luv Ranjan)
have a set standing and they also have a combination of dates of Jimmy
Sheirgill, Rakul and Tabu that they cannot afford to waste.”

The daily reports
that while shooting for Total Dhamaal in Film City a few days ago,
Ajay was wincing in pain. On noticing this, his co-actor Anil Kapoor, who
apparently had suffered a similar injury, recommended that Ajay should fly to
Germany for treatment. Sachin Tendulkar, too, had Tennis Elbow and underwent
treatment for it.

What is Tennis
Elbow?
Tennis elbow
(lateral epicondylitis) is a painful condition that occurs when tendons in your
elbow are overloaded, usually by repetitive motions of the wrist and
arm. The pain of tennis elbow occurs primarily where the tendons of your
forearm muscles attach to a bony bump on the outside of your elbow. Pain can
also spread into your forearm and wrist.
